i think you dont have to justify your reasons for leaving like we dont have to justify our reasons for staying. migration is a natural thing, as much as malaysia have more faults compared to singapore and oz, but we do our best here. i dont think it is too late to change the system - and i intend to do that.

If all those who left stay, there won't even be enough jobs for those who stay. haha
What can be said of the indonesians and filipinos maids? Should they stay in their own countries?
Be thankful that bolehland has voices outside. How difficult it's to mute the only voices inside? Read burma and zimbabwe.

What most people don't realize is that it has been scientifically proven that migration is a safety valve. It helps to ease the pressure that would otherwise build up and explode in a society.
If the restless and the enterprising are allowed to leave and seek their fortunes elsewhere, then they will do nothing to threaten the values and norms that locals have cherished for so long.
This is true in places such as Indonesia, Phillipines and Ireland, and it's true even in Malaysia. So you all should be thankful that people like Zewt has left.
It's a win-win situation. You locals get more of the Malaysia that you crave, and Zewt in turn gets more of the foreign horizons he's looking for. Fair enough?
And just in case you guys disagree with me, well, just look at all the pro-Malaysian idealists who have returned from abroad, trying to inject pirated Western ideas of democracy into your Asian feudal bloodstream. We can't have too much of that, can we? =)
Too much of that and *gasp* we'll have revolution and the streets will run red with blood.
