Fact 1 –A lot of Malaysians complain about Malaysia and refer to Singapore as a better country.
Fact 2 –
A lot of Singaporeans then say Malaysians under Fact 1 are stupid because these Singaporeans think Singapore is worse and that Malaysia is actually a better country.
Fact 3 –
You see Malaysians under Fact 1 migrating to Singapore, but you hardly (or never) see Singaporeans under Fact 2 migrating to Malaysia.

I've heard that, too.
On the other hand, the Malays in Singapore are migrating to Malaysia because they are treated like second class citizens. A few of my Singaporean Malay friends already migrated here and some are considerign.
So far, I haven't heard of Singaporeans saying Malaysia is a better country. And they did, I guess it will only be a handful
I haven't really heard many Singaporeans say that either...
So the moral of the story ? Both Malaysians and Singaporeans are stupid ?
Fact 4: Many Malaysians head to Singapore for shopping sprees. But not many Singaporeans doing the same in Malaysia.
Fact 5: Singaporeans always refer to Malaysian food as good food and travel out here often to fill their bellies.

I think how a country is being governed spells a great difference between which country is better. As an outsider, Malaysia is a lot more beautiful to me than Singapore, and Singapore is a place of rigid prosperity.
So, you tried to hint that Singapore is better than Malaysia? Hmm... I still like Malaysia more than Singapore, haha!

Whenever I introduced myself and where I came from to the mat salleh, people always made blurry face. When I explained Malaysia is a neighbor to Singapore, a lot of them replied "Oooh, Singapore". Even a Malaysian restaurant owner in San Francisco had to put his restaurant's name as Singapore Malaysian Restaurant though the food I should say, 90% originated from Malaysia. I made a joke with a friend of mine about this "If people complaint the food was bad, they will mentioned "Ha, don't go to that Singapore restaurant" but not Malaysian restaurant (cos the name is too long).Now, who's smarter? Hahaha

I guess these group of msians are sick n tired of gomen corruption,low wages,NEP and uitm

I guess these group of sporeans are sick n tired of cheap workforce that are equally capable as them and work longer hours than them,yeah these cheap labour must be from msia, so life in msia must be better cos most of msian workforce working in msia are less smart compare to those msians working in spore....'hint hint'

there r plenty of sporeans migrating to msia....i thk it is bcos our tourism minister hv been very good in promoting malaysia my second home program....or was it dat NEP tat attracted 'these' group of sporeans....or perhaps these group of ppl were attracted by the high standard of education set by uitm

I personally am a Singaporean and I had always think that Singapore is better. As much as we like to complain about the government, migration to Malaysia isn't much of a plan to us. Europe, Canada and USA are usually our choice for migration. Or at least that what the people around me think.
Sigh... the grass always seems to be greener on the other side, but in truth, grass are just the same everywhere. :(

Maybe Singapore has a more effective way of absorbing Malaysians into their culture than we do? :P

Actually my point is this: in Malaysia the Malay Muslims are too dependent on the government to protect their rights as Muslims, such that they forget God Himself. In other parts of the world, Muslims completely rely on God.
