A quick threesome!

3 things that I would like to share today… very quickly:

Uncyclopedia

Jules sent me this link today. A MUST READ!!! One will think it is a joke with just one page to make fun of you-know-which-country. But… but… but… it’s not just a one page wonder, it covers a whole lot of things… I actually looked up “World War II” and “Global Warming”, and they actually cover those too!! Have fun… this is truly a good breakaway from Wikipedia.

Recipe for Oyster Mushroom with “cili padi”

1. Heat up oil and put in chopped garlic, stir till it fragrances;
2. Add in ‘cili padi’ and fry till it stings your nose;
3. Put in some salt based on your requirement;
4. Put in oyster mushroom and fry;
5. Add in a little sugar to stimulate taste (tiu mei – not a vulgar word);
6. Fry and add a little water (just a little) and cover wok wait dish to boil.
7. Add soya sauce for taste based on your preference.

Tips: Must control water input because the fluid from the mushroom will surface during cooking to form your gravy. Do not cook too long, else they will get slimy.

Feedback on Zewt’s cooking from Julia

Can be seen as a comment by Jules here.

Yes yes yes Zewt can cook! A very attractive quality indeed! I have been fortunate enough to taste his signature siew yok! And yes cucumber can be cooked..someting new to me too, until zewt cooked it for me!I think everyone can cook. It doesn't take a genius, just some commonsense. With experience we can only get better. It is just a matter of whether we WANT to cook! Think many of us rather run to the nearest hawker/mamak!

Have a lovely weekend everybody!!!!!

P/S: Politikus, will blog about RPGT next.

Oh just reading the intro alone made me laugh out loud. And when I read what our capital city was supposed to be at the side bar, I nearly died! Man, where do you find these stuff? ;)

angel - you're welcome... happy trying...

king's wife - maybe you can search for something regarding your maid in that uncyclopedia.

kat - no need seasoning, the cucumber itself has got a natural sweet taste. if you are not vegetarian... you fry it with prawns (small ones la)... then it will taste real good... salt and a little sugar for taste. add soya sauce according to needs.

sasha - thanks!

I loved reading the contradicting version of wikipedia... full of sarcasm and its witty.. and as hard as this may be for some ppl this is the real X files!! I liked the one about SEmi value .. reminds me of what my history teacher use to say.. he would even build a toll all the way to pluto.. in case we move planets.. lolz plus he is known as Vasool Raja (Lord of The indians who loves collecting money) and we would would vote for him for another 100000000 years.. he is immortal!!!

what is tiu mei???!!!
sounds vulgar. haha.

Arrr matey! Sorry it's been a while since I checked in here, exam season's starting and the tension's gone stratospheric. I've started looking for pointy objects everywhere I go to impale myself upon. Unfortunately this being Cambridge, every street corner has a Gothic building with really sharp and inviting spires.

Ooh, you finally discovered Uncyclopedia! Yeah, my friends and I were falling off our chairs laughing when we first found it, but none of us were offended (we were a multiracial bunch). It makes fun of everything and every race, so you have to take it with a pinch of salt.

Hope everything's going okay with you :)

The Angry Medic said...

P.S. Also, Zewt, do you have an email I can contact you at?

zewt said...

MissSHopaHolic - having browsed through it... i realised it's not easy to write it. i am sure the author must have spent a considerable amount of time on it. he is immortal... is he?

faichai - tiu (hang)... mei (taste)... understand or not? your mind vulgar that's why you think it's vulgar.... haha!

The Angry Medic - yeah, a bit late in this discovery and instantly, i would like to share it here in my blog. hey... you must do well in your exams ok? plenty of lives waiting to be saved by you.

e-mail... i will let you know.
