A quick post-op pic

Yo!

Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers. And thanks doc for the choice of anaesthetic consultation. The surgery was successful and I am on the road to recovery. I have to testify, doing post-op physio is the most painful experience ever. A mother of 5 told me it was more painful than giving birth.

I am a bit tied up with a lot of things at the moment. I will certainly blog more about it. For the time being, allow me to share with you how it looks like when the surgeon drilled into my knee to implant the new ligament…

    Get ample rest and therapy. Physio is extremely important so we could you back on SCM next year and back in the badmintion court soonest possible.

  9. Glad to hear you have the surgery behind you and hoe you heal quickly.

    (Although it seems like for any pain, you can always find some mother who says it is more painful than childbirth. I'm skeptical.)

  13. Hope you're recovering well! Concentrate on recovering first then later we can look to signing u up for even the Boston marathon. ;)

    That image reminds me so much of butchery class. Yes... I had to take butchery class. It was interestingly fun.

    Fi-sha - yeah... the doc can only operate, recovery is purely based in physio and that's purely my effort. oh, that doc blog is not my blog, he is just a blog reader whom i made contact and has been a good friend.

    MKL - getting better... hopefully will be much better soon.

    secret agent woman - hahaha... well, i think it was the spur of the moment. i believe labour is the most painful experience. hats off to women.
